"Countries must protect the right of migrants and refugees to education, regardless of their residence status or whether or not they hold identity documents.” This is reflected in the 2019 edition of the Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report, the regional launch of which was organized in Dakar on 7 December by the Regional Coordination Group for SDG4-Education 2030 in West and Central Africa in the presence of partners such as the IOM, UNHCR, CONFEJES and FAWE and participants from various backgrounds.
